- Navona Square: the most enchanting spot in Rome owes its beauty to Bernini's fountain of the four rivers and to the Pamphili family who, in the renassance, commissioned the most beautiful buildings in this section. Do not forget that this place was an ancient roman circus;
- Trevi Fountain: commissioned in the midst 18th century, the most spectacular fountain in the world will ensure your coming back to Rome only by throwing a coin in. Water comes straight from outside Rome, running on the ancient aqueduct of the virgin, named after the lady who (according to the legend) pointed out the spring to the roman soldiers;
- Pantheon: Its first buildin g dates back to the 1st century B.C. and through the millennia this marvellous former pagan temple was turned into a Catholic Church and the burying place for famous artists and political figures such as Raphael and Victor Emanuel II, the first king of Italy
- Spanish Steps: A most elegant 18th-century staircase located in the center of the so called English section, close to the oldest cafes in the city. In april steps are adorned with beautiful azaleias.
- Trastevere: The common belief, untill 50 years ago, was that " only those born in this district can be considered real romans..". Yes indeed, this is the place where you can still experience some local life and admire the best craftworks in town. At night, this section will be crowded with young people strolling down the tiny streets or sitting on S.Maria in Trastevere's steps.
In between....so much to tell, so much to discover! Have fun while you walk around the city but still do not forget to look around. All you need is your eyes! Even better with a good guide!
